# Skills
|
|
|
|
Skills are research discoveries that unlock new abilities, buildings, and bonuses in Anno 117: Pax Romana. They are organized into categories and must be unlocked through the skill tree.
|
|
|
|
## Overview
|
|
|
|
- **Type:** Inspiration skills are placed deeper in the research tree and require specific conditions to unlock
|
|
- **Unlock Requirements:** Each skill node has two conditions - a required amount of generated knowledge and a secondary requirement (e.g., building a specific structure)
|
|
- **Progression:** Once unlocked, a skill node can serve as a starting point for further research
|
|
|
