# Ships & Naval
Ship construction, modules, and naval mechanics.
## Ship Construction
Ships are built in Shipyards. Construction consumes resources and time.
- Insufficient workforce slows ship construction
- Ships cannot be refitted after building
## Hulls

Each ship has one captain slot for equipping specialist items that provide various bonuses.

- Save up to 2 custom designs per hull per shipyard (6 total)
- Ships cannot be refitted after building
